This Lacote model, is a copy of a late 1830’s design by the French maker.

The guitar features the iconic shape, bridge as well as the traditional ladder bracing, that is on the original Lacote guitars.

Albeit a very small guitar, it does have a lot of volume, and is the perfect instrument for someone who wants to match their sound to the music of that period.

The shorter scale length (compared to more modern classical guitars) makes stretches on the fingerboard a lot easier. Despite the aesthetics, this guitar has a more modern feel to the fingerboard and neck than the originals, making it easier to switch between a Concert Classical guitar and this Lacote guitar.
